Professor Wu Guoyao came to our College for Academic Exchange
At 9:00 a.m. on the morning of June 29th, Wu Guoyao, a recipient of Outstanding Overseas Youth Fund and international famous nutrition expert, visited Animal Science Lecture of our College for academic exchange with our teachers and students. This lecture was hosted by Jiang Qingyan, dean of the College of Animal Sciences.

Professor Wu Guoyao gave an academic report entitled "Functional Amino Acids in the Development of the Pig Placenta". The team used pregnant sows and early weaning piglet as modesl, studied pregnant sows and piglets’ metabolism and needs on the nutrition of arginine and glutamine, and the results showed that by adjusting the level of nutrition of pregnant sows, the embryonic and fetal survival rate can be increased and the difference in birth weight of piglets reduced.
Professor Jiang Qingyan summarized the academic report given by Professor Wu Guoyao. The teachers and students interacted positively with Professor Wu and seriously studied the essence of the report, which further broadened their academic horizons.
