On the morning of September 28, Huang Qingsheng, Associate Dean of College of Animal Science and Technology, Ye Keke, director of the college office, Li An, the manager of the office, and Li Xiangquan, project manager of Hongde Property Service Center, Li Qichang, maintenance supervisor, and Zhang Yitao, security director, went to the new Experimental Building (No.48), Animal Husbandry Building (No.22), Weinan Building (No.22-1), Wenshi Building (No.22-2), Asia-Pacific Sericulture Training Center (No. 24-1), and Silkworm Building (No.11-1), etc. to carry out safety inspections before the National Day, and conduct on-the-spot investigations for the formulation of special budgetary plans for logistics management, comprehensive management, and landscaping in 2019.
After inspections, old buildings with more than 30 years (such as Animal Husbandry Building, Weinan Building and Asia-Pacific Sericulture Training Center) posed many problems. First, due to long-term disrepair, there are problems about water supply and drainage , such as water leakage, water seepage, mould growing on roof and wall, even leakage potential, drainage and insufficient sewage facilities. Second, there are problems about the civil engineering. Due to functional changes, some designs can not meet the needs of work in the new era. Third, there are still certain security risks of the wiring and layout of wires, network cables and telephone lines. In response to the above problems, in addition to the on-site rectification of some problems, the office leaders took the lead and entrusted the property company to assist in the formulation of the relevant rectification plan and the required special budget for 2019 and the nearly three-year rolling budget, and strove for funding.
