Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Agriculture issued the "2017 Guangdong Agricultural Technology Promotion Award Winning Project" (Document [2018] No. 1205), which was approved by the Provincial Agricultural Technology Promotion Awards Evaluation Committee. 149 promotion projects were awarded as 2017 Guangdong Agricultural Technology Promotion Award in Guangdong province. Among them, there are 17 first prizes, 58 second prizes and 74 third prizes. 12  scientific and technological achievements hosted by teachers of College of Animal Science and Technology won the 2017 Guangdong Agricultural Technology Promotion Award, and 8 other scientific and technological achievements have also won awards. Among them, the “Promotion and Application of Breeding Techniques for Avian Leukemia Resistance of High Quality Chicken A, B and J Subgroups” hosted by teacher of our College won the first prize, and the “Promotion and Application of Environmental Farming Mode for Broiler ” won the second prize.
